No More Than A Little Mistaken - Peeta X Katniss
It was nights like these that Peeta baked.
When the air was cool and calm, the crickets chirped in perfect harmony with the cicadas, and the sky was so clear it felt like every corner of the universe could be reached if they only thought to stretch up their hands. These were the nights that their small house felt like home.
As the twilight hours approached the windows would slowly inch open, encouraged by unseen fingers (though he knew just who had flicked the locks and urged open the shutters). Katniss x Peeta ~ Chapter 2
The next day after school, I met Gale near the fence. We crouched down and squeezed under it.
Lately we've been hunting around the same area, and we haven't been getting anything good.
If we're unlucky, we won't catch anything at all.
"So, where should we try today?" Gale asks.
"Well, I've been thinking we try somewhere over there," I reply, and point towards our
right.
Gale nods in agreement. "Good idea, Catnip."
We start to take a hike over there. The reason I chose that area is because the trees
are dense and the pine needles are soft underfoot, so we won't make a sound.
By the end of the day, when the sun reaches the horizon

I step into the bakery, wiping my wet leather boots
on the small welcome mat. The glass door swung closed behind me
and the bell rang in my ears. I brushed myself off and walked to the counter.
Hopefully the baker will take the two squirrels I shot for a loaf of
freshly baked bread.
A rather thin man pushed the kitchen door open
while holding a tray of warm rolls. The rolls smelled amazing. They
made my tastebuds quiver and I began to slightly drool. I caught myself
and wiped my mouth straight away. I can't waste time, Prim and my
mother are waiting patiently for me at home.
"Excuse me, Mr. Mellark, sir?" I mutter. The man turns
"Hello sir, you must be Mr. Mellark." The boy said as he out stretched his hand to Peeta. "Yes thats me. And you are?" Peeta asked "Damien." The boy said. Peeta shook his hand as any polite person would do and then turned to Rose, "And this is my daughter, Rose." "We've met." Damien said. "So I've heard." Peeta laughed as he said this, "I'm sorry if she was a little hostel when you met." Rose gave her father a look of embarrassment that said: why would you say that? "Oh it's alright sir, to give her credit I was a little rude and I might have deserved it." Rose couldn't believe it, this guy was such a charmer, she new her father was going to
Peeta sat down after his daughter had left the room. "What are we going to do about her Katniss?" Katniss sighed she hated seeing Peeta this way, it wasn't like him, neither was it for Rose to act the way she did. "Maybe I should go and talk to her after she cools down." Katniss said, "But you weren't at the bakery to see it happen!" Peeta half yelled, "I'm sorry I didn't mean to be loud." Peeta apologized. "It's ok I know this is stressing you out maybe you should take a nap." Katniss said, "I guess that would help..." Peeta sighed as he said this, "Just check on her soon ok?" Peeta said, "I promise I will." Katniss exclaimed. After she said
Sitting in the woods was always peaceful to Finley. The sights and the sounds could calm anyone, thats why his mother came out here so much, to get away from her past. Finley had learn about the games from his parents way before school started, so they could prepare him for the troubling stories. However, Finley didn't want to think about that now, he was busy focusing on any signs of movement. It was then he heard sound coming from the creek. He grabbed he bow and started moving to the creek. He leap at the moving object, bow ready to fire, however what he found wasn't a deer or a turkey. No animal but a girl.

Katniss and Peeta spent as much time as they could together everyday before Peeta would go to work. Peeta wanted to paint with Katniss, and Katniss agreed reluctantly. "You have to hold the brush better Katniss." Peeta said, "Nobody said there was a certain way to hold it." Katniss joked. Peeta just smiled at her, watching her struggle with her painting. "What are you painting exactly?" Peeta asked, trying not to laugh at her. "The woods why what do you think it was?" she asked. "Oh nothing." Peeta said "I see it now.". "It sucks doesn't it?" Katniss said disappointed. "No it looks great, I like it!" Peeta said. "No it's bad and you know it,
Rose sat in the bakery waiting for the cake she had made to be fully cooked, she couldn't understand why that boy that had came in earlier would want a job here after the way she yelled at him. "Hey Rosie." Peeta said as he walked into the bakery, "Hi dad." Rose said gloomily. "What has gotten you so grumpy?" her father asked, "Just this stupid guy that came in asking for a job." "A guy?" her father raised an eye brow along with his question. "Shut up not like that, he's this new guy in town I guess and he wanted a job here." she said, Peeta just laughed at his daughter and said, "Not like that huh? Then why are you blushing?" This just made

In Peeta's Eyes CF 25: Midnight
When the anthem plays, no one appears in the sky. The five of us sit on the beach until Katniss and Finnick figure it is about nine o’clock. They lead the way over to the beach section of the twelve o’clock wedge, and the long trek to the top, where the lightning tree stands, begins. I don’t remember it being this far to the force field before. The oysters and bread I ate weigh heavily in my stomach and once or twice, I think I might throw it all back up. It is with some difficulty that I keep it down. We are all struggling to maintain the pace and we’re out of breath by the time we reach the tree.

It had been years since the rebels won against the capital. It has also been years since Katniss and Peeta grew back together, and now they had two beautiful children. The eldest: Primrose Mellark or as both Peeta and Katniss called her: Rose. She had dark brown like her mother but bright blue eyes like her father. Their youngest child, their son was named Finley Mellark. Peeta and Katniss named him after Finnick Odair their old friend, Finley had his father's blonde hair and his mother's coal miner grey eyes.
